Plastic nursery pots are the reason houseplants never look as good at home as they did in the store. Drop the pot straight into one of these and the plant suddenly looks like it belongs in the room.
Handwoven seagrass, sturdy enough to stand up on its own, in a natural straw color that sits well against wood, white walls and just about everything else.
Which size
- Small — 7" across the top (18cm). Fits a standard 6" nursery pot. Herbs, succulents, a small pothos.
- Medium — 8.7" across the top (22cm). Fits an 8" pot. The common size for a store-bought houseplant.
- Large — 9.8" across the top (25cm). Fits a 9" pot. Monsteras, ferns, anything with real presence.
Measure across the top of your existing pot and pick the basket that's an inch or so wider. Snug is better than swimming.
It isn't only for plants
The same shape works on a desk for pens and brushes, in a bathroom for cotton balls and lotions, or in a kitchen for utensils. It just happens to be the right size and shape for a plant pot.
The details
- Handwoven natural seagrass
- Holds its shape when empty
- No liner — keep the plant in its plastic pot and water it in the sink
- Wipe with a dry cloth
Questions people ask
Is it waterproof? No, and it isn't meant to be. Leave the plant in its nursery pot, take it out to water, let it drain, put it back. That's how these are designed to work.
Will the color match the photo? Roughly. Natural seagrass varies, so yours will have its own tone somewhere in the straw to light brown range.
Can I put a pot with drainage holes straight in? Only if you're happy to line it first. Water will go straight through the weave.
