Most kitchen storage is designed to be hidden in a cupboard. This is the opposite — thick clear glass, a bamboo lid, and a little wooden spoon that hangs off the side, so it earns its place on the counter instead of being tucked away.
Fill it with coffee beans, pasta, rice, sugar, tea or cookies. The point is that you can see what's in it, and that it looks like something you chose rather than something you inherited.
The lid actually seals
A silicone ring inside the bamboo lid does the work. Coffee stays fresh, sugar stays dry, and nothing in the cabinet picks up the smell of anything else. The wide square opening means you can get a hand and a scoop right to the bottom, which matters more than it sounds when you're cleaning it.
Choosing a size

Questions people ask
Is it properly airtight? Yes — the silicone ring in the lid compresses when you close it.
Can the lid go in the dishwasher? Wash the bamboo lid and the spoon by hand and dry them. Dishwashers dry wood out and it'll crack over time. The glass is fine.
Will it hold a full bag of coffee? The 1000ml takes a standard 2lb bag comfortably. For flour or cereal, go for the 1200ml.
Does the spoon come with every size? Yes.
