Can the lid go in the dishwasher? No. Wash it by hand and dry it — dishwashers dry wood out and it will crack. The glass is fine either way.
Is it properly airtight? Yes, there's a seal inside the lid. Press it down firmly to close.
What size holds a bag of coffee? The 750ml takes a standard 1lb bag. Go up to 1000ml if you buy larger.
